Cheyenne Mountain took Discovery Canyon into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-13, 25-19, 13-25, 17-15.

Cheyenne Mountain pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Doherty, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
