Baseball Recap: Ridgeview Takes a Loss

Abingdon hit Ridgeview with a six-run sixth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Wolfpack came up short against the Falcons, falling 11-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-0 last Tuesday.

Ridgeview has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. As for Abingdon, they pushed their record up to 15-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Ridgeview does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Abingdon, they will face off against Central Wise at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
