Basketball Recap: South Harrison Takes a Loss

South Harrison lost against Clay County back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The South Harrison Hawks fell 67-56 to the Clay County Panthers.

South Harrison now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Clay County, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-10 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Harrison will challenge Roane County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. South Harrison knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Roane County likes a good challenge. As for Clay County, they are taking a road trip to square off against Braxton County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
