Soccer Recap: Del City Comes Up Short

Del City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 7-1 to the Shawnee Wolves. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Del City were already down 4-1.

Their goal came courtesy of Francisco Velsaco-Moreno, who's now up to two this season.

Del City's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Shawnee, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coming up, Del City will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Guymon at 7:00 p.m. As for Shawnee, they will head out on the road to square off against Bishop Kelley at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be Shawnee's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
