Basketball Recap: Northern Burlington Falls Short of Westampton Tech in the Playoffs

Northern Burlington and Westampton Tech squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Northern Burlington had to settle for second. They lost 64-38 to the Westampton Tech Panthers. The Greyhounds haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Westampton Tech to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jacob McCollum, who went 6-for-7 en route to 13 points and six boards. What's more, McCollum also posted an 86% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Alex Jeanty, who went 5-for-8 to rack up 14 points.

Northern Burlington's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Westampton Tech, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Northern Burlington nor Westampton Tech have any future games scheduled.
