Soccer Recap: Fort Campbell Falls to Hopkinsville in First Game of Season

Fort Campbell unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Hopkinsville Tigers on Tuesday, falling 6-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Fort Campbell of the 4-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

CARLOS Hermosillo and MIGUEL ORANDAY scored all three of Fort Campbell's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Hopkinsville's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-1-1.

Looking ahead, Fort Campbell will challenge Heritage Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hopkinsville, they will be playing at home against Lyon County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
