West Grand came tearing into Friday's game with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Cedaredge Bruins. The Mustangs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bruins, too.

Loss or not, Cedaredge got some senior leadership from Maya Cerise and Neveah Erickson. Cerise had 14 digs and two aces, while Erickson had 29 digs and three assists.

West Grand's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Cedaredge, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

West Grand has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Clear Creek on the 30th. As for Cedaredge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Mancos on the 30th.
