Dae'cion Echols Turns in Season-Best Performance

Dae'Cion Echols produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Muncie Central to the win on Friday. Echols rushed for 267 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 12.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 52 yards.

Richmond had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Echols it was a similar story. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Echols saw the Red Devils), he rushed for 90 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.

Harrison found a leader in Jack Gonzalez as the team took down Kokomo on Friday. Nobody could stop Gonzalez as he made six total tackles. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 89 yards.

Harrison has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. Gonzalez and Harrison will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Westfield at 7:00 p.m. on November 1st.

Keemarion Pollard Goes Supernova in Kokomo Defeat

While Kokomo might've come up empty on Friday, Keemarion Pollard wasn't going down without a fight. Pollard was dynamite, rushing for 80 yards and two touchdowns.

Pollard and Kokomo will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on McCutcheon at 7:00 p.m. on November 1st. Pollard will face off against Tyler Brigham, the Mavericks' star RB. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
