Jackson South Side entered their tilt with Hardin County on Tuesday with 11 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 12. They took their game with ease, bagging a 72-37 victory over the Hardin County Tigers. With the Hawks ahead 44-24 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jackson South Side to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jaidynn Askins, who went 8 for 12 on her way to 19 points in addition to eight steals and five assists. That's the most steals Askins has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Amear'Ra Cook, who went 7 of 9 en route to 16 points along with seven assists and three steals.

Jackson South Side smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in 12 consecutive contests.

Jackson South Side pushed their record up to 18-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.4 points per game. As for Hardin County, they now have a losing record at 10-11.
