Basketball Game Preview: High Point Central Bison vs. Atkins Camels

The High Point Central Bison will face off against the Atkins Camels at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in High Point Central's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matches.

High Point Central will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Rockingham County, who they had gone 1-6 against in their seven prior meetings. High Point Central claimed a resounding 74-45 win over Rockingham County. The Bison have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Atkins was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were beaten by Northeast Guilford 90-35. While losing is never fun, the Camels can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 590th, while the Rams are ranked 153rd).

High Point Central's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Atkins, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-11.
