Baseball Recap: Bells Takes a Loss

Bells entered their game against Callisburg on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Bells Panthers lost 15-2 to the Callisburg Wildcats. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Panthers have suffered since April 12, 2024.

Bells' loss dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Callisburg, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-1.

Coming up, Bells will welcome S & S Consolidated at 7:00 p.m. on March 11th. S & S Consolidated will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Bells surely won't give up without a fight. As for Callisburg, they will face off against Sulphur at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. Callisburg's pitching crew has only allowed two runs per game this season, so Sulphur's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
