            Basketball Recap: Cumberland Christian Home Educators Hawks vs. South Wake Sabres        
        
		
        
        
            Cumberland Christian Home Educators suffered their biggest  defeat since January 21st on Wednesday. They lost  75-51 to the South Wake Sabres. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Despite the loss, Cumberland Christian Home Educators still got an impressive performance from   Joshua Sloan, who  dropped  a double-double with 15  points and 12  boards. The team also got some help courtesy of  Aiden Drew, who  posted 12 points and five  rebounds.
 Leading South Wake to victory were  Thomas Williams and  Noah Wright.  Williams  went 6-for-10 from beyond the arc to rack up 24  points, while  Wright  shot 63% from the field on his way to 15 points in addition to seven  boards and six  assists. Thanks to that strong game,  Williams now owns an excellent 46%  field goal percentage.  Marcus Webb was another key player,  putting up eight  points.
Cumberland Christian Home Educators' loss dropped their record down to 24-16. As for South Wake,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 25-9.
 Looking ahead, Cumberland Christian Home Educators won't have much time to rest: their next  match is against Summit Christian Academy  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
