Braddock piles up the points against Coral Park

Recap: Braddock Bulldogs vs. Coral Park Rams

The Braddock Bulldogs came tearing into Monday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Coral Park 50-17 on the road. Given Braddock's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 267th, while Coral Park is ranked 546th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Braddock was led to victory by Anna Rubiera and Elsa Stier . Rubiera scored 12 points along with six steals and five rebounds, while Stier dropped a double-double on 12 points and 16 rebounds. The matchup was Stier 's tenth in a row with at least ten points. Yvonne Jebian was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with six rebounds.

Braddock's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Coral Park, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Braddock will be home for the holidays to greet TERRA Environmental at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. TERRA Environmental is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Coral Park, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Hialeah Gardens at 3:30 p.m. on December 20th.
