Recap: Yorktown Tigers vs. Pike Red Devils
On Saturday, Yorktown came up short against Pike and fell 55-48. Yorktown has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Yorktown's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Austin Kates, who scored 10 points. Another player making a difference was Jabin Barnes, who scored 6 points along with 10 rebounds.
Yorktown's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Pike, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.
Yorktown will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Greenfield-Central at 7:30 p.m. on December 15th. One thing working in Greenfield-Central's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. Pike will be home for the holidays to greet Lawrence Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
