Basketball Recap: Absarokee Comes Up Short

Absarokee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 40-31 to the Reed Point/Rapelje Renegades. The Huskies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Renegades apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Reed Point/Rapelje's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Charile Hertweck led the charge by putting up 12 points. Rylie Tinsley was another key player, scoring ten points.

Absarokee's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Reed Point/Rapelje, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-6 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Absarokee has already played their next match (against Roberts), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Reed Point/Rapelje has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Non Varsity Opponent.
