Kenedy and Refugio are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2020, but not for long. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Lions face off against the Bobcats at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

On Friday, Kenedy got the win against Three Rivers by a conclusive 73-49. With the Lions ahead 42-21 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Refugio). They breezed by Skidmore-Tynan to the tune of 89-28 on Friday. Refugio has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 21 points or more this season.

Kenedy is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-17 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.4 points over those games. As for Refugio, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Kenedy skirted past Refugio 61-58 when the teams last played back in January. Does Kenedy have another victory up their sleeve, or will Refugio turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
