Softball Recap: Thornton Academy Trojans vs. South Portland Red Riots
Thornton Academy extended their losing streak to three on Monday, dropping their season record down to 2-6 in the process. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 14-13 heartbreaker at the hands of the South Portland Red Riots. Even if the Trojans couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.
