It's playoff time, and Sandburg had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their ninth in a row.

While Sandburg might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Riverside-Brookfield scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-20.

Jeremiah Aro paced Sandburg's offense, picking up eight kills. Aro got some help from Easton Donausky and his 21 assists. Aro was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Sandburg pushed their record up to 34-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Riverside-Brookfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 23-14.

As of now, neither Sandburg nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
