After a string of three wins, Graham's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to the Virginia High Bearcats. The G-Men were not able to make up for their loss to the Bearcats from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 11-25, 25-13, 25-16.

Elise Jacobs paced Graham's offense, picking up 14 kills. Jacobs got some help from Grace Dixon and her 17 assists. Kadance Bowman controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Graham's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Virginia High, their win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-12.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Graham is set to challenge their familiar foe Richlands at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Virginia High will take on rival Marion at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
