It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Grenada can now relate to. They fell just short of the Saltillo Tigers by a score of 5-3 on Friday. The Chargers' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Grenada saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Trusty, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI. Tanner Fowler also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Grenada's defeat dropped their record down to 20-13. As for Saltillo, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 28-6.

While Grenada had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
