Oxford piles up the points against Southbridge

The Oxford Pirates scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 87-47 victory over Southbridge at home. The win was some much needed relief for Oxford as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Brady Marqoupis continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 40 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Oxford's points. Another player making a difference was Andruw Martinez , who scored 18 points.
Oxford's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Southbridge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.
Oxford will be playing in front of their home fans against Northbridge at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Northbridge and Oxford are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Southbridge, they will head out on the road to face off against Uxbridge at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Uxbridge will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
