Natalie Newport put up the most strikeouts she's had since back in April on Tuesday. She struck out five batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
