Basketball Recap: Dawson County Comes Up Short

Dawson County lost against North Hall back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Dawson County Tigers received a blow as they fell 80-65 to the North Hall Trojans. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 419th, while the Trojans are ranked 193rd).

Dawson County's loss dropped their record down to 8-16. As for North Hall, their win bumped their record up to 14-10.

Dawson County will take on Pickens at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Pickens will roll in looking for their 25th straight victory, something Dawson County surely won't give up without a fight. As for North Hall, they will host Chestatee at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
