Volleyball Recap: Bronson Eagles vs. Williston Red Devils
Bronson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Williston Red Devils. The Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Red Devils from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-14, 25-11.
Makenna Dean paced Bronson's offense, picking up seven kills. Dean got some help from Katie Douglas and her eight assists. Hailey Clifton controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Williston's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kailey Davis, who had nine assists and five aces. Davis is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served three or more in each of the last three games she's played. Kai Gowland was another key player, getting six kills, three aces, and one block.
Bronson's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Williston, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season.
Bronson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Wildwood on the 16th. As for Williston, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Chiefland on the 18th.
