Chillicothe came tearing into Monday's contest with eight straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Patriot Prep Academy Eagles as they made off with a 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cavaliers also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Chillicothe was: they took every set by at least 16 points. The final score came out to 25-5, 25-9, 25-8.

Mercer Cutright paced Chillicothe's offense, picking up six kills. Cutright got some help from David Rourke and his 13 assists. Rourke was also solid from the service line: he led the team with eight aces.

Chillicothe pushed their record up to 10-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Patriot Prep Academy, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Chillicothe has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Bishop Hartley on the 22nd. As for Patriot Prep Academy, they will face off against Ross County Christian Academy at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
