Basketball Recap: Cuba City Takes a Loss

Cuba City has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They lost to the Prairie du Chien Blackhawks at home by a 69-54 margin on Tuesday. The Cubans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blackhawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Cuba City's loss dropped their record down to 17-5. As for Prairie du Chien, their win was their 20th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 21-2.

Coming up, Cuba City will face off against Darlington at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Prairie du Chien, they will head out on the road to take on Platteville at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
