Baseball Recap: Boonville's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak at Home

Boonville was the 11-5 winner over Warrensburg when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Pirates fell 5-1 to the Tigers on Thursday.

Boonville's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-9. As for Warrensburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-14 record this season.

Boonville will challenge Fulton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Warrensburg, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 4-3 loss against Pembroke Hill on the 10th.
