Basketball Recap: Lapeer Lakers Homeschool Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lapeer Lakers Homeschool can now relate to. They fell to the STX Saints 57-53. The Lakers just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

STX's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Caedmon Williams led the charge by putting up 16 points and three steals. Williams has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucian Lopez, who shot 54% from the field en route to 16 points and six boards.

Lapeer Lakers Homeschool's loss dropped their record down to 22-11. As for STX, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-15 record this season.

As of now, neither Lapeer Lakers Homeschool nor STX have any future games scheduled.
