The Academy of the Holy Cross Tartans waltzed into their game Thursday with two straight wins but they left with three. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 58-16 victory over Varsity Opponent. That 58-16 margin sets a new team best for The Academy of the Holy Cross this season.

Zoey Seymour was her usual excellent self, scoring 16 points. The match was her sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Julia Finney, who scored 11 points.

The Academy of the Holy Cross' victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Varsity Opponent, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost 43 of their last 49 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 61-236-3 record this season.
