Volleyball Game Preview: Knob Noster Panthers vs. Holden Eagles

The Knob Noster Panthers will square off against the Holden Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Tuesday, Knob Noster didn't have quite enough to beat Richmond and fell 3-2. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, Holden came up short against Carrollton on Tuesday and fell 3-1. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Holden started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 13-25, 25-16, 25-20, 25-13.

Holden's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15-1. As for Knob Noster, their loss dropped their record down to 8-12-2.

Everything went Knob Noster's way against Holden in their previous meeting two weeks ago, as Knob Noster made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
