Basketball Recap: Whitmer Takes a Loss

Whitmer had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost to the Elyria Pioneers on the road by a 66-52 margin on Wednesday.

Elyria got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jermiah Daniels out in front who posted 15 points along with six steals and five assists. Those 15 points gave Daniels a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Seth Wilkerson, who shot 42% from the field on his way to 10 points in addition to five boards and three steals.

Whitmer didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 65-30 win against Bowling Green on the 4th. As for Elyria, they have also already played their next matchup, a 74-61 victory against Cleveland Heights on the 30th.
