Soccer Game Preview: Arlington vs. Melrose

On Monday, Arlington beat Reading Memorial 3-1. That's two games straight that Arlington have won by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, Melrose kept a clean sheet against Wilmington on Monday. They skirted past the Wildcats 1-0. Melrose haven't had any issues with Wilmington recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Melrose now has a winning record of 6-5-2. As for Arlington, their record is now 10-1-1.

Arlington came out on top in a nail-biter against Melrose when the teams last played back in October of 2024, sneaking past 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Spy Ponders since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
