Soccer Game Preview: Palisade vs. Fruita Monument

The Palisade Bulldogs will face off against the Fruita Monument Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Palisade proved they can win big on March 6th (they won by three) and last Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Montrose 2-1.

Taylor Balding and Kate Fricke scored both of Palisade's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Meanwhile, Fruita Monument kept a clean sheet against Roaring Fork last Friday. They came out on top against the Rams by a score of 2-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Fruita Monument were the better team in the second half.

Palisade's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Fruita Monument, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
