            Baseball Recap: Tohopekaliga Tigers vs. Celebration Storm        
        
		
        
        
            After losing to Celebration the last time they met, Tohopekaliga decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Tigers blew past the Storm 11-5 on Thursday. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Tigers.

Tohopekaliga got a great performance from  Gabriel Hernandez as he  tossed five innings while giving up  three earned  (and two unearned) runs off   nine  hits. The dominant performance also gave  Hernandez a new career-high in  strikeouts (four).
 On the hitting side,  Cristian Viali was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing three bases while going 2-for-4. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's  played.  Alex Oquendo was another key player,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.
Tohopekaliga's win was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 8-9. Those  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Celebration, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record  this season.
 Tohopekaliga has already played their next contest,  a  2-0  win against Innovation on the 8th. As for Celebration, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  game,  a  12-2  victory against Haines City on the 8th.
