Montezuma is 10-0 against H-L-V since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Montezuma Braves are taking a road trip to challenge the H-L-V Warriors at 7:30 p.m. Montezuma knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully H-L-V likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, Montezuma humbled Colfax-Mingo with a 65-28 victory. The match marked the Braves' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Meanwhile, H-L-V hadn't done well against B-G-M recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. H-L-V managed a 56-51 win over B-G-M. The Warriors' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Montezuma's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for H-L-V, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Everything came up roses for Montezuma against H-L-V when the teams last played back in January, as the team secured a 65-38 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Montezuma since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
