Softball Recap: North Oldham Extends Winning Streak to Four

North Oldham took a 12-run loss the last time they faced off against Male, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Mustangs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over the Bulldogs on Wednesday. The victory was nothing new for the Mustangs as they're now sitting on four straight.

KADIE BOSEMER (2026) spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on five hits and racked up seven Ks.

On the hitting side, North Oldham's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was CLAIRE STREICHER (2029), who went 2-for-3 with one RBI. That's the most hits STREICHER (2029) has posted since back in March.

North Oldham's record is now 15-10. As for Male, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 15-13 record.

Coming up, North Oldham will venture away from home to square off against Henry County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Male, they will square off against Greenup County at 8:15 p.m. on Friday.
