Volleyball Recap: Mogollon Takes a Loss

Mogollon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Sunday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fountain Hills Falcons. The Mustangs were not able to make up for their loss to the Falcons from their previous meeting back in September of 2017.

Lilly Miller was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 14 digs and three assists. That's the most digs she has posted over her last eight matches.

Mogollon's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Fountain Hills, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-12 record this season.

Mogollon will head out to square off against Williams at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fountain Hills has already played their next contest (against Phoenix Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
