Volleyball Recap: Genoa-Kingston Comes Up Short

Genoa-Kingston was the 2-0 winner over Milledgeville when they last played one another back in September of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Cogs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Missiles on Saturday. The Cogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Milledgeville found their leader in sophomore Lexis Grenoble, who had 15 assists and five digs.

Genoa-Kingston's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Milledgeville, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.

Genoa-Kingston has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Rochelle on the 15th. As for Milledgeville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Amboy on the 16th.
