Northwest entered their tilt with Round Rock on Saturday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Dragons.

Levariya Pinder paced Northwest's offense, picking up 15 kills. Pinder got some help from Payton Zondor and her 31 assists. Zondor was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Isa Cordaway-Dreier and Aubrey Goode certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Cordaway-Dreier had 14 digs and one assist, while Goode had 20 assists and six digs.

Northwest's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Round Rock, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-3 record.

Northwest has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against New Braunfels on the 16th. As for Round Rock, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Liberty Hill on the 16th.
