Basketball Recap: Southern Choctaw Continues Road Dominance on Friday

Southern Choctaw won the last time they faced Fruitdale, and Marcionna Young did her part to make sure it happened again. The Southern Choctaw Indians claimed a resounding 59-30 victory over the Fruitdale Pirates thanks in part to Young, who posted 26 points. The match was her third in a row with at least ten points.

Southern Choctaw pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28.3 points. As for Fruitdale, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.

Southern Choctaw will square off against McIntosh at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fruitdale, they will host Satsuma at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
