Basketball Recap: Columbia Central Comes Up Short

Columbia Central lost against Brentwood back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Columbia Central Lions were beaten by the Brentwood Bruins 74-45. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Columbia Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Brentwood, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Columbia Central Lions face off against the Lawrence County Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Brentwood, they will venture away from home to take on Centennial at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
