Volleyball Recap: Boron Takes a Loss

Boron was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Rosamond Roadrunners. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Roadrunners this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-11, 25-18.

Despite the defeat, Boron saw an underclassman step up: freshman Aaliyah Davis had nine assists and four aces. Davis is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Boron's loss dropped their record down to 11-17-1. As for Rosamond, their win bumped their record up to 17-14-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Boron is set to take on their familiar foe Frazier Mountain at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Rosamond will challenge rival Kern Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
