Soccer Recap: Falls Church Takes a Loss

Falls Church was the 1-0 winner over Yorktown when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Falls Church fell 3-1 to Yorktown on Thursday. Falls Church just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Falls Church's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Yorktown, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Falls Church challenge Centreville at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Falls Church will be up against Centreville's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.25 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Yorktown, they will face off against George C. Marshall at 7:15 p.m. on April 4.
