Globe gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They secured a 24-20 W over the Alchesay Falcons. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row dating back to last season.

Jaeger Franco had a dynamite game, rushing for 58 yards and one touchdown, while also throwing for 188 yards and one TD on only 17 passes. Those 188 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Corban Bejarano was another key player, gaining 123 total yards and a touchdown.

Looking ahead, Globe is taking a road trip to face off against Santa Cruz Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Alchesay, they will be playing at home against Window Rock at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
