Montgomery is 8-2 against Northwood since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Montgomery Tigers will host the Northwood Gators at 4:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

Montgomery lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Negreet, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's game. Montgomery was the clear victors by a 14-1 margin over Negreet on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Tigers needed considering they were shutout in their previous contest.

Meanwhile, Northwood got the win against Saline on Thursday by a conclusive 13-2.

Randall Carraway was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while going 2-for-4. Braxten McFarlain was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

The victory got Northwood back to even at 2-2. As for Montgomery, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Everything went Montgomery's way against Northwood in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, as Montgomery made off with a 17-5 win. Will Montgomery repeat their success, or does Northwood have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
