If Alcoa wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Northview Academy, they should've done a better job of containing Sydney Cole. The Cougars were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tornadoes on Tuesday for which the team can thank Cole, who had 11 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Northview Academy walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-14, 25-19.

Northview Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Courtney Ellerbe led the charge by getting four digs and two aces.

Northview Academy's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Alcoa, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Northview Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Carter on the 18th. Alcoa has also already played their next matchup (against Sequoyah), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
