Baseball Recap: Valley Falls Continues Road Dominance on Monday

Valley Falls put their dominant pitcher on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Monday. They never let the Jackson Heights Cobras get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The Dragons haven't had any issues with the Cobras recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Trenten VanHoutan made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most runs he has posted over his last ten matches.
