There's no place like home for Estrella Foothills, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Agua Fria Owls with a sharp 19-9 win on Tuesday. The Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by ten runs or more this season.

Hunter Harris looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in eight consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Josh Vargas, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Jayson Ross was another key player, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4.

Estrella Foothills was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .583. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Estrella Foothills' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-10. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Agua Fria, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12.

Estrella Foothills will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Owls: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
