After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by
Ben Arbuckle to
Brock Hedgecoke in the first quarter,
Canadian (Texas) led 28-7 at the half.
The Wildcats expanded their lead to 42 points entering the fourth quarter. Canadian scored three times in the third, including once on a touchdown pass by Arbuckle to
Boston Hudson.
Jon Martinez made a difference for Tulia (Texas). He threw one touchdown and kicked one extra point.
The Hornets' lone touchdown came on a 50-yard pass from Martinez to Ross Keeter in the second quarter.
CHS had given up an average of 17.9 points prior to the contest.
The loss comes after Tulia defeated Olton 50-12 last week. With the win the Wildcats extended their winning streak to four games. The loss snapped Tulia's 3-game winning streak.
