Baseball Game Preview: Warren Warriors vs. Brennan Bears

Warren is 1-9 against Brennan since March of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Warriors will head out to face off against the Bears at 7:30 p.m. Warren's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so Brennan's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Warren had taken Harlan down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Thursday. The Warriors fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 5-4.

Kevin Gutierrez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered five earned runs on eight hits.

On the hitting side, Adrian Lopez made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three runs and one double.

Meanwhile, Brennan was able to grind out a solid win over Taft on Thursday, taking the game 13-8.

Brennan's victory bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Warren, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 13-9.

Warren came up short against Brennan in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, falling 3-0. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
